Our client is a large, wellâestablished organisation seeking a handsâon Financial Manager to support regional operations through strong financial control, insightful reporting, and compliance excellence. This role sits close to the business, working alongside operational leaders to guide decisionâmaking, manage costs, and improve financial outcomes.
You will be responsible for endâtoâend financial management across the region, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, balance sheet oversight, and audit readiness. The role offers variety, responsibility, and meaningful interaction with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage regional budgeting, forecasting, and financial control processes
- Prepare accurate monthly forecasts and management reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, legislation, and group policies
- Oversee cash flow, revenue, credit control, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Monitor costs, expenditure, inventory, and workâinâprogress balances
- Analyse financial results, investigate variances, and identify trends
- Support operational teams with financial insights and costings
- Manage internal controls and support audit processes
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Relevant honors / post-graduate diploma
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
- 2 to 3 years postâarticles experience
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS
- Experience in financial management, financial control, or regional finance roles
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
- Effective communication with nonâfinance stakeholders
- IFRS knowledge
- Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fastâpaced environment
