Compliance Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all operational employees are correctly licensed where required
• Secure and maintain all necessary business licenses from the relevant Gambling Boards
• Enforce full compliance with Gambling Board legislation, FICA, POPIA, and internal policies and procedures
• Develop and implement departmental compliance assessment programs
• Conduct thorough and accurate audit assessments and initiate corrective action when necessary
• Manage approval processes for betting equipment and procedures in accordance with legislation
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with Gambling Boards through consistent communication
• Offer guidance to internal departments on regulatory compliance requirements
• Work independently or collaboratively to deliver consistently high-quality standards

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric (NQF Level 4)
• A recent graduate or currently studying towards a Legal or Risk qualification
• Minimum of 2 years experience in auditing or strong demonstrable auditing proficiency
• Proven experience in resolving compliance matters
