Responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day payroll related activities and processing of all payrolls
  • Manage onboarding of new employees and termination administration
  • Oversee leave management
  • Oversee ESS management including ESS training of new employees
  • Manage and prepare distribution of payslips
  • Maintain employee files
  • Prepare third party payments and processing thereof
  • Complete weekly and monthly payroll control account recons
  • Prepare month-end reports and payments
  • Create standard and ad hoc reports
  • Responsible for all tax related activities and compliance status
  • Responsible for e-filing submissions

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (payroll advantageous)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a full payroll function
  • Minimum of 3 years' SAGE 300 payroll experience is a requirement
  • Experience with payroll control account reconciliation essential
  • Experience with Time and Attendance systems required
  • Skilled and up to date knowledge of the latest payroll and tax legislation
  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Excel intermediate level
  • Ability to keep confidential information to yourself
