Seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic based in Port Elizabeth for a Fixed Term Contract position.

Immediate availability required

Duties and Responsibilities:

Repair and Maintenance - fixing mechanical failures on trucks, trailers and yellow machines, including engine components, transmission systems and other parts
Inspections and Administration
ensure compliance with Governing regulations and laws (eg Road, Traffic Act)
ensuring policies and procedures are upheld
Safety - Maintaining workspaces and promoting shop safety, following established procedures for safe disposal of motor oil, tyres and other vehicle fluids, adherence to workplace safety standards and regulations

Requirements and Experience:

3-5 years experience in Diesel Engine, Truck and Trailer repairs
Grade 12
Valid Drivers licence (CDL Strongly preferred)
Diesel technician or mechanic degree / relevant qualification with Trade Test
Technical skills
Interpersonal skills
Analytical ability and Decision Making skills
Communication skills
Basic MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
