Senior Accountant

🔍 Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting and ensuring compliance across the division. Duties will include:

• Preparing monthly journals and financial reports
• Compiling balance sheets and profit & loss statements
• Assisting with annual audit preparation and resolving audit findings
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies and non-compliance issues
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations
• Producing monthly sales and management reports
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
• Ensuring accuracy of credit notes and stock adjustments
• Preparing and submitting VAT reconciliations and returns

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
• Relevant Finance Degree (NQF Level 7)
• Minimum 5 years experience within a manufacturing environment
• Syspro experience is essential
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
