Requirements- BEng Mechatronics (or equivalent)
- 7+ years of experience in automation engineering within high-tech manufacturing
- Strong grasp of mechatronic, electronic, and mechanical system design
- Advantageous: Experience in the mining or electronic initiation industry
- Lead automation upgrades, equipment redesign, and capacity planning
- Oversee new automation initiatives from concept through commissioning
- Collaborate with R&D and production to align systems with future product development
- Standardize automation practices (software, documentation, commissioning)
- Mentor engineering teams and drive continuous improvement
- Provide support for legacy systems and external automation suppliers
