Supporting the Restaurant Manager, the Assistant Restaurant Manager will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining service excellence, and assisting in team leadership.
This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Candidate Requirements:
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Hospitality Management (advantageous)
- 2 4 years experience in a supervisory or senior waiter role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic food and beverage knowledge
- Ability to lead and support a team
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and service excellence
- Ability to work under pressure
- Computer literacy and willingness to learn
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations
- Support and guide the front-of-house team during service
- Ensure consistent service delivery and guest satisfaction
- Handle guest queries and feedback professionally
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and administration
- Maintain high service standards across all dining areas
- Step into a leadership role when required
- Support the Restaurant Manager with operational duties
