Recruitment Consultant
The Opportunity
As an Engineering Recruitment Consultant, you will become a trusted talent partner within the engineering industry, connecting top technical talent with organisations driving innovation, infrastructure development, manufacturing excellence, and engineering projects across South Africa.
This role combines business development, consultative sales, talent acquisition, and relationship management, offering significant earning potential and long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and grow relationships with engineering firms, manufacturers, EPC contractors, consulting engineering businesses, and project-based organisations.
- Build a specialist network of engineering professionals across various disciplines.
- Source, engage, and interview high-calibre candidates, including Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Civil, Electronic, and Project Engineers.
- Identify new business opportunities and secure exclusive recruitment partnerships.
- Advise clients on market trends, talent availability, and hiring strategies.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from business development through to successful placement.
- Negotiate offers and facilitate successful outcomes between clients and candidates.
- Build credibility as a specialist recruitment consultant within the engineering sector.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales and placement targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Previous experience in sales, recruitment, engineering, manufacturing, technical environments, business development, or customer-facing roles will be advantageous but is not essential.
