Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic assessments, maintenance, and repairs on petrol and diesel vehicles.
- Conduct minor and major vehicle services.
- Repair and replace engine, clutch, brake, suspension, steering, and drivetrain components.
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot faults.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within allocated timeframes.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding vehicle faults and required repairs.
- Adhere to workshop health and safety procedures.
- Qualified Motor Mechanic with a Red Seal Trade Certificate (non-negotiable).
- Minimum 35 years' post-qualification experience.
- Experience working on various vehicle make and models.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and quality-focused.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
