Stores Receiving Clerk

We are currently seeking a Stores Receiving Clerk for a well-established engineering company. The ideal candidate must be technically inclined and able to work confidently with engineering components and machinery parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery notes and purchase orders
• Identify and handle engineering and machinery parts accurately
• Take basic measurements of parts and materials when required
• Capture stock on the system and maintain accurate records
• Report any damages, discrepancies, or shortages
• Ensure proper storage and organization of stock
• Operate a forklift to load and offload goods safely

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience in a stores or receiving role within an engineering or technical environment
• Technically minded with the ability to identify machinery parts
• Ability to take accurate measurements
• Valid Forklift License (essential)
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer literacy - Sage
• Strong organizational and communication skills
