Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Cashbook Controller to join our high-volume, fast paced Finance Shared Services team. This role is critical in ensuring:
- Analyse and reconcile bank statements on a daily and monthly basis
- Reconcile and analyse bank cashbooks
- Clear cash suspense accounts timeously
- Reconcile and balance sub ledgers
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and audit requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in Cashbook Controller or similar finance role
- Experience in high volume transactional environment
- Strong reconciliation experience
- SYSPRO experience a (ESSENTIAL)
- Must come from a RETAIL or FMCG background
- Advanced Excel skills required V-Lookup & Pivots a MUST
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Good communication skills with the ability to engage across finance teams
