Western Cape | Building Construction Projects

A leading construction company is seeking a SACPCMP-registered Safety Manager to oversee Health & Safety compliance across multiple large-scale building projects.

Project Scope:

• Building contracts ranging from R60 million to R150 million in value.
• Current sites are located in Vredenberg, Tokai, Stellenbosch & Ceres and Durbanville

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate Safety Officers across all sites.
• Ensure full compliance with SACPCMP and statutory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to site teams.
• Report on all safety matters to senior management.

Requirements:

• SACPCMP registration for at least 5+ years (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Safety Manager in building construction.
• Proven track record managing multiple sites and teams of Safety Officers.
• Strong knowledge of construction regulations and HSE best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel to multiple project sites across the Western Cape.
