Intermediate Test Analyst

This role is responsible for ensuring that the company's payment applications and supporting software meet both functional and non-functional requirements. The Intermediate Test Analyst will lead the planning, development, execution, and documentation of testing activities, using both manual and automated testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse requirements to determine test conditions and prioritise test cases
- Plan test strategies and document test objectives and resources
- Design and execute manual and automated test scripts
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure responsiveness and stability
- Identify risks and ensure compliance with testing protocols and standards
- Maintain technical documentation aligned with internal policies
- Set up and maintain test environments that replicate production
- Perform fix verification and impact analysis
- Estimate testing efforts for sprint planning and project forecasting
- Provide detailed defect reporting and trend analysis
- Guide and support other testers, ensuring adherence to best practices
- Continuously improve testing strategies and processes
- Lead test automation initiatives and participate in design reviews
- Ensure successful handover from QA to Operations
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a test analyst or QA role
- Strong experience with both manual and automated testing techniques
- Skilled in analyzing system requirements and translating them into test plans
- Familiar with performance/load testing and debugging tools
- Experience working within Agile teams and sprint environments
- Comfortable mentoring junior team members and guiding best practices
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality software
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
