RESTAURANT OPERATIONS MANAGER - RESTAURANT & FUNCTIONS

Our client is seeking a motivated, outgoing, and experienced Operations Manager.

Salary: R35,000

Essential Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in restaurant/hospitality operations
• Senior management experience
• Computer literacy
• Own transport & valid driver's license
• Strong command of English (verbal and written)

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Standards:

• Manage all FOH/BOH operations across all shifts
• Maintain and enforce company service and operational standards
• Conduct systematic checks of all front of house areas
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and SA legislation

People Management:

• Coach, supervise and develop restaurant managers and future leaders
• Conduct performance appraisals and hold staff accountable
• Provide ongoing training to all staff members
• Ensure all staff are uniformed and fully prepared for duty

Financial Management:

• Manage budgets, forecasts and financial targets
• Control food, labour and operating costs
• Drive profit targets
• Analyse sales, costs and KPIs to consistently improve performance

Client Experience & Growth:

• Ensure guests are greeted courteously and service exceeds expectations
• Anticipate and resolve customer needs and complaints swiftly
• Actively promote the brand within the local community
• Attend monthly board meetings and submit timeous operational reports
