Client Success Lead / Utilities Manager / Operations Manager (Coastal)

Key Responsibilities:

• Approve and monitor meter reading schedules (2832 day cycles)
• Ensure timely finalization and accuracy of readings
• Resolve access issues and escalate non-compliance when needed

• Align reading periods with billing dates
• Approve imports from MDM, PNP, and MeterConnect systems
• Oversee variance and performance report updates
• Approve final billing files and ensure landlord policy compliance

• Oversee solar, generator, and special billing accuracy
• Monitor and document irregularities, faulty equipment, and exceptions

• Ensure accurate, on-time submission of utility files to clients
• Oversee resolution of client/tenant queries within 72 hours

• Lead utility administrators and provide formal/informal training
• Define performance goals, monitor progress, and give feedback
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams

• Attend monthly utility meetings and ad hoc sessions with landlords and tenants
• Maintain open, professional communication with all stakeholders

Requirements:

• Matric with Maths and Accounting (mandatory)
• Tertiary qualification (diploma/degree) preferred
• 35 years in utility management or property utility admin
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, large datasets)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
