Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Design and manage structural engineering projects.
• Analyse & review of reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of structural element estimates, practical construction methods and economic considerations.
• Monitor and manage the design teams to meet deadlines.
• Client and project team liaison.
• Manage multiple projects including project finance and resources.

Qualifications

BSc/BEng/ BTech in Civil Engineering.

Must be registered as a Professional Engineer or Technologist with ECSA.

Skills

3+ years post registration with ECSA.

Proficiency in Microsoft packages, Civil3D, Prokon design software and any other structural design software.

10 years working experience in Civil & Building structures/ Services.

Knowledge of industry design codes and standards.

Strong structural design and analytical skills.

Ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.

Good communication and reporting skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
