Area Maintenance Lead

Key Requirements:

• B.Tech in Engineering (B.Eng preferred).
• GCC qualification advantageous.
• 810 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 5 years in maintenance and 2 years in project management.
• Preferably experienced in the petrochemical or refinery industry.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance, reliability, project execution, budgeting, safety regulations, and industry standards (ASTM, ASME, API).
• Experience with SAP, Maximo, Ariba, SmartPlant, and interpretation of P&IDs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead maintenance execution across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, rotating equipment, and civil disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and legal requirements, including acting as the GMR 2(7) appointee.
• Manage maintenance budgets, projects, contractors, and performance KPIs.
• Drive maintenance reliability, schedule attainment, backlog management, and emergency work response.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Reliability, and Inspection teams to improve asset performance and refinery availability.
• Develop, mentor, and manage employees and contractor teams while fostering a strong safety culture.
