Patient Administration Manager (Healthcare)
Our client within the private healthcare space, is seeking a Patient Administration Manager to lead patient-facing operations at one of its hospitals in the Eastern Cape.
This pivotal role will see you managing the full patient administration function - from admissions and billing to records management and case flow coordination - ensuring both operational efficiency and an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee admissions, discharges, and billing processes with accuracy and empathy.
- Manage patient data integrity and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Supervise and coach the patient admin team to deliver excellence in service.
- Collaborate across departments to streamline processes and enhance patient satisfaction.
- Drive revenue accuracy and timely DNYB resolution in line with hospital benchmarks.
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field.
- Minimum 35 years experience in hospital administration or healthcare operations.
- Proven understanding of funder rules, authorisations, and billing procedures.
- Proficiency in Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) and MS Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
