Financial Accountant - Cape Town

What You'll Be Doing:
- Compile monthly reporting packs and support EXCO reporting
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and preparing audit & tax packs
- Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure Capex compliance
- Process monthly journals (payroll, depreciation, leases, etc.)
- Monitor and analyse expenses, accruals, and supplier reconciliations
- Ensure accurate VAT submissions and revenue reporting
- Oversee billing, wages checks, petty cash, and credit card transactions
- Support cost analysis and cashbook allocations
What You'll Bring:
- A completed Accounting degree
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a Financial Accountant role
- Strong computer literacy
- Excel proficiency at an intermediate to advanced level is essential (this is non-negotiable)
- Exposure to or experience with business operating systems
- Familiarity or experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is advantageous
