Finishing Foreman – Building Contractor (Cape Town) - Cape Town - ref. c95052215

A well-established medium to large building contractor in Cape Town is seeking a Finishing Foreman to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing finishing trades and ensuring high-quality standards are achieved on multi-storey building developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate finishing trades (carpentry, tiling, ceilings, painting, joinery, etc.)
• Ensure quality workmanship and attention to detail throughout all finishing phases
• Manage subcontractors and ensure project deadlines are met
• Conduct snagging and de-snagging inspections to ensure compliance with specifications
• Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies
• Report progress to Site Manager and assist in resolving site challenges

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Finishing Foreman in the building industry
• Strong track record on multi-storey residential and commercial projects
• Excellent knowledge of finishing trades, standards, and materials
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to deliver high-quality finishes within tight deadlines
