Wealth Manager (Advisory) | Western Cape
Our client is seeking a dedicated Wealth Manager to join their Client Relationship Management team. In this role, you will manage and develop an existing advisory client book, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial advice and an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Servicing: Conduct regular client visits to provide wealth management feedback and re-evaluate risk profiles and financial needs.Strategic Planning: Ensure detailed Financial Needs Analyses (FNAs) are completed and reviewed annually for all clients.
Relationship Management: Proactively manage an existing book while identifying cross-selling opportunities to increase Assets Under Management (AUM).
New Business Development: Network to obtain referrals, conduct presentations, and attend seminars to identify business opportunities.
CRM & Technology: Maintain accurate client information in Xplan, using the system for tasks, threads, and reporting.
Collaboration: Work closely with Wealth Management Assistants (WMAs) and specialists across the Group to ensure seamless administration and holistic service.
Compliance: Ensure 100% industry compliance in file preparation and stay updated on regulatory developments.
Requirements:Education: An undergraduate degree in Commerce or Business Science with a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning is required.
Professional Certification: Must be a Registered CFP® with the FPI (non-negotiable).
Experience: 13+ years of proven experience providing holistic financial planning and advice to HNW and UHNW clients.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Xplan (or a similar CRM system) and the Microsoft Office suite.
Competencies: Strong planning and presentation skills, commercial drive, integrity, and a results-oriented mindset.
