The Role: Financial AdministratorThis role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, growing business. You'll support the finance function by maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily transactions, and helping streamline financial processes as the company scales.
This position offers a clear development path to a Junior Financial Accountant role and is perfect for someone who enjoys precision, problem-solving, and contributing to an ambitious brand's success.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records and perform reconciliations in Xero (bank, supplier, payments, journals).
- Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently and accurately.
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Support stock control and cost accounting processes.
- Ensure all supplier and customer information is kept up to date.
- Help implement improved financial systems and workflows.
- Collaborate with management to provide timely and insightful financial data.
- Maintain an organised filing system for all financial documentation.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting support role.
- Proficiency in Xero (non-negotiable).
- Strong Excel skills, confident with formulas, pivots, and reconciliations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused.
- Manufacturing or FMCG experience is advantageous.
- Studying towards or interested in pursuing accounting qualifications (SAIPA, CIMA, SAICA) is beneficial.
- Positive, energetic attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Take initiative and ownership of your work.
- Communicate clearly and build strong working relationships.
