Job Summary:

You will be instrumental in analysing business processes, eliciting requirements from stakeholders, and translating these into clear, actionable specifications that drive efficient and innovative solutions. This role requires a professional who is not only adept at data analysis but also possesses exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirements Elicitation: Collaborate extensively with internal and external stakeholders to define and document business needs, goals, and processes. This includes conducting interviews, facilitating workshops, and gathering comprehensive requirements.
• Requirements Translation & Documentation: Translate complex business requirements into clear, concise, and actionable functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
• Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making and enhance business performance.
• Process Optimisation & Solution Design: Evaluate current systems and processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose effective business and technical solutions that align with strategic objectives. Develop and document business process models (e.g., BPMN) to illustrate current and future states.
• Project Support & Quality Assurance: Work closely with technical teams throughout the project lifecycle, supporting the implementation of approved solutions. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that solutions meet defined business requirements and quality standards.
• Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present meaningful reports, findings, and project updates to diverse audiences, including management and cross-functional teams.
• Resource Management: Contribute to efficient resource allocation and cost control for initiatives.

Essential Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data manipulation.
• Experience with process modelling tools such as Microsoft Visio or BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation).
• Familiarity with project management and agile development tools like JIRA or similar.
• Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Soft Skills:
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify root causes, evaluate options, and propose effective solutions.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative environment.
• Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational capabilities, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results autonomously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, Agile Analysis Certification).
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data concepts.
• Basic understanding of AI and Machine Learning fundamentals and their application in business analytics.
• Domain-specific knowledge relevant to our industry.
