Overview

Hire Resolve’s client in the construction industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Contracts Manager in Pretoria, Gauteng.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Review tenders and identify contractual risks and opportunities
  • Ensure legal compliance and manage contractual risks
  • Support project teams with cost control, claims, and variations
  • Handle contract negotiations and stakeholder communications
  • Maintain accurate contract documentation and records
  • Resolve disputes and manage claims efficiently
  • Liaise with legal teams when needed
  • Attend project meetings and align contract terms with execution
  • Ensure deliverables and obligations are clearly understood and met

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or related field
  • Experience in contracts management within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, JBCC, or other standard forms of contract
  • Proven experience in tendering, claims, and dispute resolution
  • Solid understanding of commercial and legal aspects of construction projects
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and contract management software
