Professional Structural Engineer

Our client is looking for a Professional Structural Engineer to play a key role in designing, analyzing, and managing structural engineering projects across a diverse portfolio from commercial buildings and industrial facilities to bridges and infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead structural design and analysis for new and existing structures.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure design compliance with local standards and codes.
• Collaborate closely with Architects, contractors, and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Review and approve designs by Junior Engineers or consultants.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and client expectations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• BSc/BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering (Masters advantageous).
• Pr Eng registration (ECSA) is essential.
• Minimum of 510 years experience in structural design and project delivery.
• Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., Prokon, Revit, Etabs, and AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of relevant SANS codes and international standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
