Quality control technician
QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN/EAST LONDON - The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes comply with customer and internal quality standards. This role requires a systems-driven individual with a strong background in automotive manufacturing quality systems and tools, ensuring consistent product quality and compliance with customer-specific requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance within the Automotive Manufacturing Industry.
Strong working knowledge of VDA Core Tools, SPC, FMEA, PPAP, and control plans.
Experience in auditing, both internal and supplier-based.
Knowledge of customer-specific requirements (CSRs) for major OEMs, including VW, Mercedes, and BMW (advantageous).
Proficiency in document control systems, work instructions, and quality management software.
Familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and a structured, systems-oriented approach to quality.
National Diploma or Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
Relevant certifications in VDA 6.3, IATF 16949, or Quality Core Tools will be advantageous.
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
