Warehouse Ops Clerk

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accurately process incoming and outgoing stock by completing all required documentation (e.g., GRVs, delivery notes, dispatch notes).
• Maintain up-to-date records of all stock movements and ensure data is captured correctly in the warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP.
• Perform regular stock reconciliations and assist in cycle counts and full stocktakes to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Assist in coordinating deliveries and collections by preparing pick slips, packing lists, and transport documentation.
• Communicate with transporters, suppliers, and internal teams to confirm delivery and dispatch details.
• Verify and cross-check incoming shipments against purchase orders and report any discrepancies or damages.
• File and archive warehouse documentation systematically for easy retrieval and audit compliance.
• Assist with labelling and tagging of goods to ensure proper identification and traceability.
• Support the Warehouse Supervisor with daily administrative tasks and reporting requirements.
• Monitor warehouse supplies (e.g., pallets, packaging materials) and assist in reordering when stock is low.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and housekeeping standards, keeping the warehouse office area neat and organized.
• Provide general clerical support, including responding to emails, handling phone calls, and liaising with other departments as needed.

Requirements:

• At least two years' experience in a similar role in a warehouse environment.
• Understanding of SYSPRO

The salary bracket for the role is around R15k - R18k CTC p/m. Note that it is the client's prerogative, regardless of advertised package, to offer a market related salary considering the candidate's qualifications, skills, and level of experience.
