Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, operate, and maintain the Odyssey POS system.
  • Ensure data accuracy across the system, including pricing, stock levels, and transactions.
  • Liaise with store teams to troubleshoot and resolve system-related queries.
  • Monitor and report on POS performance and discrepancies.
  • Assist with process improvements and system updates.
  • Support the Financial Director with POS-related reporting and analytics.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within retail, distribution, or bookkeeping.
  • Currently employed (applications from unemployed candidates will not be considered).
  • Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Energetic, proactive, and team-oriented personality.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Odyssey POS is advantageous (full training will be provided).
  • Sound knowledge of Cape Town and surrounding areas will be an advantage.
