The Role: Systems ArchitectThe Systems Architect will lead the design and governance of enterprise-wide architecture frameworks across multiple development initiatives. This role exists to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing systems aligned to strategic objectives.
You will define standards, guide technical direction, and ensure integration across complex platforms and environments.
Key Responsibilities- 812+ years of experience in software engineering or architecture roles
- Design and document enterprise system architecture and technical frameworks
- Define integration strategies across platforms, services, and applications
- Establish and enforce technology standards and architectural governance
- Guide development teams on architectural principles and key technical decisions
- Ensure system scalability, performance optimisation, and security compliance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business strategy
- 812+ years of experience in enterprise software engineering or architecture
- Proven track record designing and implementing enterprise-level architectures
- Strong experience working within cloud environments
- Solid understanding of integration patterns, security frameworks, and scalability principles
- Bachelors or Honours Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Architecture certifications advantageous
- Strong strategic thinking ability with a structured and solution-driven mindset
- Confident communicator able to influence senior technical and business stakeholders
