Alloy Wheel Quality Inspector | General Worker, Gauteng, Midrand Â

• Inspect rims for bubbles, scratches, paint defects, porosity and other quality issues according to required standards and SOPs.
• Identify and report any faults or defects to management immediately.
• Regularly check stock and consumables required at the quality station and report shortages.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workstation at all times.
• Ensure all quality checks are completed accurately and consistently.
• Assist other departments when required and as instructed by the Operations Manager.
• Follow all company procedures, quality standards and workplace requirements.
• Perform additional reasonable duties as requested by management.

Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Minimum 1 years experience in the motor industry.
• Previous experience in a quality, production, wheel/rim or automotive manufacturing environment
• Good understanding of quality standards and the ability to identify defects on rims.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and presentable.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency.
• Quick learner with a proactive approach.
• Resilient, hardworking and willing to assist where required.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
