Senior Laboratory Analyst / Laboratory Technician

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory testing and analysis in accordance with approved methods and quality standards.
- Perform microbiological, chemical, environmental, or water quality analyses.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation.
- Conduct routine calibrations, verifications, and quality-control checks.
- Investigate non-conformances and support corrective actions.
- Maintain laboratory quality records and documentation.
- Participate in internal audits and quality management activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare samples for analysis and assist with reporting of results.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory.
- National Diploma or Degree in:
- Chemistry
- Biotechnology
- Microbiology
- Environmental Science
- Analytical Chemistry
- Water Care
- Natural Sciences
- Or a related scientific discipline
- Minimum 3-5 years' laboratory experience.
- Experience working within an accredited laboratory environment.
- Knowledge of laboratory quality management systems (ISO 17025 advantageous).
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation and calibration procedures.
- Strong understanding of quality control and laboratory documentation.
