Key Responsibilities:
- Installing commercial HVAC units (VRV/VRF systems, split units, package units, chilled water systems)
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance
- Conducting faultâfinding, diagnostics, and repairs
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and accurate service reporting
- Providing professional interaction and feedback to clients
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Trade Test: AirâConditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic (essential)
- Industry Qualifications: HVAC/Refrigeration Certificate or NQF equivalent
- Safe Handling of Refrigerants Certification
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Minimum 5 years proven experience in the commercial HVAC industry
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with VRV/VRF, chilled water plants, and commercial airâconditioning systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Professional communication & clientâservice skills
- Reliable, disciplined, safetyâconscious
