Field Service Technician (Medical Equipment)

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years preferred

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently, in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site repairs, preventative maintenance, and annual servicing of medical equipment
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults and malfunctions
• Complete detailed service and maintenance reports accurately and on time
• Ensure all equipment is compliant with relevant health and safety standards
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients
• Travel to healthcare facilities and other client sites throughout Gauteng for scheduled and emergency service calls

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar field service role
• Relevant technical qualification (e.g., National Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Technology, or similar)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within Gauteng
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
