Software Application Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities
- Provide software support to clients and users.
- Manage and resolve incidents and technical support queries.
- Perform SQL queries and assist with database-related troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain SSRS reports.
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Assist with the development of new reports based on client requirements.
- Perform system configurations and customisations.
- Provide technical assistance during software installations and implementations.
- Travel to client sites when required to assist with installations and support.
- Provide professional and effective user support.
- Work directly with clients to understand issues, troubleshoot problems and provide solutions.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure incidents are resolved within agreed time frames.
- 35 years' relevant experience in software support, application support, BI support or a similar technical role.
- A Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
- Experience working with SQL queries.
- Experience with SSRS and report development.
- Experience creating or supporting Power BI dashboards.
- Experience with system configuration.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- A stable employment history / stable track record.
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
- Willingness and ability to travel within South Africa when required.
