Financial Manager (3 months contract)

Duties include:
- Management of a finance team consisting of 3 x Accounting Managers and 4 x Financial Accountants
- Assist in the management of various financial accounting functions, including inventory, debtors, creditors, VAT, fixed assets, general ledger, company taxation, cash flow, forex and insurance.
- Oversee the prep. of monthly management accounts
- Oversee the submission of all company returns
- Preparation of board packs.
- Manage finance related systems and internal controls.
- Assist with the management of working capital and forex exposure
- Ensure tax and legal Compliance
- Facilitating the audit processes
- Monitor and analyse cash flow, cost controls, forecasts and expenses
Requirements:
- CA (SA) / SAIPA / CIMA or equivalent
- Demonstrated knowledge related to Accounting and Enterprise Systems, Taxation legislation, etc.
- Minimum of 7-10 years relevant experience within a similar role.
- Knowledge of Sage300 will be advantageous.
- Experience within the retail environment would be advantageous.
