Senior Business Intelligence Project Co-Ordinator

A dynamic opportunity is available for a Senior Business Intelligence Project Co-Ordinator to join a fast-paced environment focused on campaign management, reporting, compliance, and operational execution. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role within the Business Intelligence department, managing projects, overseeing team members, and ensuring campaigns are executed efficiently and to the required standards.

This is a full-time, office-based position.

Salary
  • R21 000 – R24 000 per month

Reporting Structure

This position will oversee:

  • Junior Business Intelligence Project Co-Ordinator
  • Business Intelligence Administrator
Key Responsibilities Project Management
  • Manage media and marketing campaigns from initiation through to completion
  • Coordinate campaign execution with internal Business Intelligence team members
  • Act as the main contact for campaign-related communication and queries
  • Liaise with Operations Teams and in-store merchandising staff to ensure campaigns are executed correctly and on time
  • Monitor project progress and ensure issues are resolved efficiently
  • Ensure all campaign deliverables meet required standards and deadlines
Team Management
  • Supervise and support the Junior Business Intelligence Project Co-Ordinator and BI Administrator
  • Delegate tasks and monitor workload distribution within the department
  • Provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to team members
  • Ensure administrative and reporting functions are completed accurately and timeously
Business Intelligence & Reporting
  • Support and oversee Business Intelligence functions and reporting processes
  • Work across various BI platforms, dashboards, and audit systems
  • Maintain and monitor route lists and operational databases
  • Assist with special projects and reporting requirements
  • Participate in weekly operational and management meetings
Data Processing & Administration
  • Oversee the maintenance of master data and route information
  • Ensure representative and regional management route lists are updated across systems
  • Oversee the maintenance and distribution of internal reporting sheets and merchandising lists
  • Ensure all administrative records remain accurate and up to date
General Duties
  • Support overall Business Intelligence processes and operations
  • Assist with additional duties as required by management
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field
  • 3–5 years’ experience in analytics, reporting, project coordination, or Business Intelligence
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience advantageous
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with databases, dashboards, and web-based systems
  • Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills
Special Requirements
  • Willingness to work overtime when required
  • Own reliable vehicle
  • Willingness to travel nationally on an ad-hoc basis
