Results - Driven Production and Sales Coordinator - Retail Meat Industry

A Dynamic Meat Retail Company is looking a for a results-driven Production and Sales Coordinator with hands-on experience in the retail meat environment. Responsible for coordinating daily production planning, managing sales orders, aligning stock availability with demand, and ensuring seamless communication between production, sales, dispatch, and retail operations.

• Matric (Grade 12) – essential - with a Bachelor Pass (Maths and Science)
• Qualification in Production, Operations, Sales, or Business Administration (advantage)
• 3–5 years’ experience in meat retail, processing, or FMCG production
• Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, cold chain, hygiene controls)
• Knowledge of a Meat Matrix System an advantage
• Able to Speak fluently in English
• Additional Qualification's in this field an advantage

Ideal:

• Strong operational understanding of meat production and retail sales
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicator between floor staff and management
• Able to work extended hours and under production deadlines

• Plan and coordinate daily meat production based on sales forecasts and orders
• Liaise with butchery, deboning, packing, and dispatch teams
• Monitor yields, wastage, shrinkage, and production variances
• Ensure correct product specifications, labelling, and portion control
• Support compliance with food safety, hygiene, and cold-chain standards

• Receive, process, and confirm customer and store orders
• Allocate stock according to availability and priority
• Communicate pricing, promotions, and product availability to sales teams
• Handle order amendments, shortages, and urgent requests
• Maintain accurate sales records and reporting

• Coordinate raw material intake and finished goods movement
• Track stock levels, expiry dates, and shelf-life
• Assist with invoicing, GRVs, credit notes, and reconciliations
• Prepare daily production vs sales reports
• Support stock counts and audits
