Intermediate Test Engineers - Cape Town based candidates Only - 1 year Contract - Hybrid

We are recruiting for 2x Intermediate Test Engineers for a Project - START Date 1st August 2025

This is a 1 year contract and hybrid based role, candidates must be based in Cape Town

Need x2 Intermediate Test Engineers in CPMMA (Appian) project:

Key Responsibilities

Create test plan, test cases, test executions and test reports in Atlassian JIRA.

Design and implement scalable, maintainable automated test frameworks.

Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium with Java or similar.

Create and manage test environment.

Collaborate with QA analysts, developers, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.

Analyse test results, identify root causes, and log defects in Atlassian JIRA.

Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing as part of software release cycles.

Participate in test case reviews, and Agile ceremonies.

Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and techniques to increase test reliability and coverage.

Required Skills

Appian experience desirable.

ISTQB certified tester.

Experience with Agile methodologies and principles.

Knowledge on Atlassian tools.

Knowledge on AWS cloud.

Knowledge in both manual and automation testing.

Strong scripting, programming experience.
