Creditors Clerk / Bookkeeper

Our client, a well-established retail company, is seeking a Creditors Clerk / Bookkeeper to join their fast-paced finance team. This role is ideal for someone with strong creditors experience and sound bookkeeping knowledge, who thrives under pressure and is used to managing high-volume accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage large retail creditors (80% of the role)
• Perform general bookkeeping duties
• Ensure accuracy and timely processing of financial records
• Assist with monthly stock takes (every second month on a Sunday)
• Support financial reporting and audits when required

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role (creditors and bookkeeping)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of transactions
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
• Available to work public holidays during December (remunerated)
• Must be willing to work Sundays for stock take (compensated with time off)
• No annual leave allowed during December

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08h00 – 17h00
