Millwright

• The successful incumbent must possess at least five (5) years experience as a Millwright professional, preferably in an industrial setting. (Biological Waste Water Industry).
• Instrumentation experience will be advantageous

• Grade 12 / N3 / NQF 4.
• Recognised Millwright Trade Certificate (Red Seal).
• Multi-skilled in Fitting and Basic Electrical experience (Achieved through a recognised apprenticeship).
• Valid driving license code (EB Code).
• Own transport.
• Medically Fit.
• Clean Criminal Record.

• Electrical installation and maintenance up to 380V
• Technical support and troubleshooting according to the plant's maintenance schedule.
• Operational Support Provide specialist support to the shift-based teams during operations, where requested assist as a functional expert in problem solving.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
• Install, maintain, and repair instruments and control systems, ensuring they function correctly.
• Calibrate and test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and calibrations.
• Promptly attend to any electrical, mechanical and/or related process control system breakdowns and callouts when required.
• Ensuring that all unsafe conditions are repaired timeously or to report to prevent any incidents or accidents.
• Participate in Risk Assessments based on external and internal influences.
• Maintain a high quality of housekeeping.

Shortlisted candidates will be expected to undergo psychometric testing and background screening.
