The Role: Bookkeeper

This is a maternity cover role within the finance team, responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, invoice management, and reconciliations. The role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting smooth financial operations.

You'll work closely with the Finance Manager and Cloudworx team, providing reliable support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience handling high-volume transactions
  • Issue invoices, manage purchase orders, and track payments accurately
  • Record and reconcile transactions using Xero and Buildertrend
  • Prepare and reconcile weekly financial data for the Finance Manager and Cloudworx
  • Ensure compliance with company processes and South African tax laws
  • Collaborate with the wider team to maintain efficient financial workflows
About You
  • At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience in a high-volume environment
  • Diploma in Finance or Bookkeeping (essential)
  • Registered with SAIBA (or SAIT if tax-related)
  • Proficiency in Xero and strong Excel skills
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and reliable under pressure
  • Organised, proactive, and deadline-driven
  • A team player with a solutions-focused mindset
