Code 10 Driver

Job Title: Code 10 Driver (Valid PDP) – Retail Sector

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Code 10 Driver with a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP) and a minimum of 3 years’ solid driving experience within the retail sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance with road safety regulations

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Code 10 vehicle to transport goods to various retail locations.
• Ensure timely deliveries and collections in line with company schedules.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any faults or maintenance needs.
• Load and offload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Verify delivery documentation, invoices, and obtain customer signatures where required.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and store personnel.
• Report incidents, accidents, or delays promptly to management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Code 10 driver’s license.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Minimum of 3 years’ proven driving experience in the retail or FMCG sector.
• Clear criminal record.
