SQL Database Administrator

Our client is looking for an SQL DBA to join their team. The successful candidate will have to ensure best practices/standards regarding SQL and reporting, perform backup and recovery and also provide assistance to BI Developers and users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and maintain SQL Server databases
- Perform database tuning, backups, restores, and disaster recovery
- Implement and manage security policies and access controls
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application performance
- Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- MCDBA and/or MCTS (SQL Administration)
- 3+ years experience in SQL as a DBA / 3+ years in IT
- SQL 2000/SQL 2005/SQL 2008
- Strong experience and knowledge of T-SQL scripting and must have SQL migration experience.
- SSAS, SSIS and SSRS advantageous
