Junior Bookkeeper

Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Bookkeeper with a BCom degree to join our dynamic auditing firm. The successful candidate will support the finance team with accurate record-keeping and play a key role in maintaining financial integrity in line with auditing standards.

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconciliations
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports
• Support auditors with documentation and data requests
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Perform administrative duties related to bookkeeping and audits

• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 0–2 years of bookkeeping or finance-related experience (internships included)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and MS Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Previous experience in an auditing or professional services environment
• Knowledge of VAT and tax regulations
• Willingness to learn and grow within the organization
• Strong ethical standards and professional integrity
