Qualification
- Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy Degree.
- Project Management Qualification would be advantageous.
- At least 6 years of experience on capital processing equipment in the mining industry with multi-disciplinary engineering and project experience.
- Understand the mechanical components of grinding mills and other equipment and how these machines operate.
- Must be able to execute projects with Senior Management / Project Manager assistance and management.
- Strong technical skills in engineering principles and practices.
- Periodic travel to countries neighbouring South Africa. Valid RSA Passport.
- Required to manage his/her own projects in accordance with the companys specifications and requirements.
- Responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects assigned and to establish inspection criteria for the proper implementation of all the elements of a project.
- Management of project cost, quality, timing, scope, freight and site works.
