Junior Financial Manager

Our client who is in the engineering sector is looking for a Junior Financial Manager to join their dynamic finance team. As a Junior Financial Manager, you will work closely with the Financial Director to manage financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance. You will gain exposure to every facet of financial management, from daily operations to strategic analysis while helping shape the companys financial performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily financial operations, including cashbook processing and bank reconciliations
• Manage Debtors, Creditors, and Payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing
• Prepare and review statutory and regulatory submissions (SARS, VAT, MIBFA, Stats SA, etc.)
• Consolidate and manage BBBEE compliance data across departments
• Assist with preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial statements
• Conduct financial and variance analyses to support data-driven business decisions
• Support cost management, stock valuation, and continuous process improvement

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BCom in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• Minimum 2+ years post-articles experience in financial analysis, budgeting or management accounting
• Proficiency in SAGE Evolution and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
