Junior Draughtsman / Detailer â Facade & Cladding Systems [2x vacancies]
The drawing office is responsible for turning architects drawings into shop drawings, works orders, and material take-offs that drive both factory production and site execution. As the busiest part of the production chain, the office is expanding and seeks to appoint a junior draughtsman/detailer to increase capacity, ease team workload, and support the transition toward parametric and automated detailing.
Reporting and Team
The role reports to the Drawing Office Manager / Technical Manager. The successful candidate will work within a small team of draughtsmen and coordinate closely with estimating, factory, and site teams.

Participate in the implementation of parametric templating and automated take-off processes as the drawing office evolves.
Requirements- Diploma or degree in drafting, architectural technology, mechanical/structural drafting, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit or other 3D/BIM experience is a strong advantage).
- Experience in detailing façades, cladding, aluminium/sheet metal, curtain walling, or structural steel or a strong aptitude and willingness to learn the companys cladding system.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications.
- Ability to manage revisions, work under production pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate in a team environment.
- Familiarity with aluminium extrusion and sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Exposure to material take-offs, estimating data, and works-order systems.
- Interest in Building Information Modelling (BIM), parametric design, and automation, with opportunities for growth as the office modernises.
