We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Junior Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance department with electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and preventative maintenance activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Minimum Requirements

Qualification in Electrical, Millwright, or Mechatronics

Millwright Trade Test with limited or no post-trade experience

Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Working knowledge of PLC and HMI systems

Basic computer literacy

PLC/HMI coding and SAP experience advantageous

Skills & Competencies

Mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilities

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work under pressure and independently

Good communication and organisational skills

Safety-conscious with strong housekeeping practices

Key Responsibilities

Attend to electrical and mechanical breakdowns

Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance

Assist with installation and maintenance of plant equipment and machinery

Minimise downtime during set-ups and line changes

Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards

Complete maintenance tasks as allocated by the Maintenance Supervisor

Perform shift, overtime, and standby duties when required
