Internal & External Salesperson – Howick

Our client has an exciting opportunity to join their team in the position of External Salesperson. The role will involve building and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers as well as some driving duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

Identifying and securing new sales opportunities

Customer Relationship Management:

Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service, and addressing customer needs.

Product Knowledge:

Possessing a strong understanding of power equipment products and services to effectively advise customers and demonstrate their features and benefits.

Sales Process Management:

Managing the sales process from initial contact to closing, including providing quotes, handling inquiries, and tracking sales progress.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the power equipment or related industry.

Preferably an understanding of power equipment, including features, applications, and benefits.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.

Ability to identify and resolve customer issues and provide appropriate solutions.

Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Ability to use computer systems for sales reporting, customer management, and other sales-related tasks.
