A well-established, listed property development company based in Sea Point, Cape Town, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to lead its financial operations and ensure the ongoing financial health and sustainability of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee cash flow management and develop financial projections.
• Ensure compliance with tax legislation, statutory requirements, and external audits.
• Identify financial risks and implement effective control measures and cost-saving strategies.
• Supervise accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and other day-to-day finance functions.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, auditors, and financial institutions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal financial controls and company policies.
• Provide strategic financial insights and support to senior management.

Requirements:

• BCom in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA(SA) qualification preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior finance role, ideally within the property development or real estate sector.
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, tax, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and financial management software.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
